Topic: How to get the right childcare for your baby
The meeting began after each woman introduced themselves and how they arrived to the US. Francisca did a wonderful job in discussing the different types of daycare systems available to women (Family daycare, Home daycare, and Daycare centers). She talked about the things a mother should consider while picking a daycare for her child such as the cost, setting and social aspects. After going through all the different options and things to look out for when picking a daycare, women were able to identify which system of daycare best fit their needs and that of their babies. The women were very grateful to learn about some of the things they often overlook or take lightly but are very important in making sure their children get the best services.

Topic: Taking good care of yourself as a mom
This was our first partnership between the Property Management Office and Worcester Healthy Start Initiative to bring Health Dialogues to the residents of Autumn Woods Apartments. A total of 7 women attended and participated in a hearty round table discussion on "How to take good care of yourself as a mom" and "Mental health for new moms". These meeting will be held monthly and we anticipate a surge in attendance.
